DC Empowering Children Inc. ™, is a nonprofit agency that empowers children and adults against sexual abuse through annual arts and educational conferences that focus on the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA).
The conferences have established a safe public arena to attack CSA, an issue that is often silenced in families and communities. Since 1998, the agency has organized Surviving Sexual Abuse (SSA) conferences in hopes of providing healthy forms of healing for victims of rape & sexual abuse… and are always free of charge.
Our Founder
Dr. Debbie Chambers is an Ed.D. of Educational Leadership and founder of DC Empowering Children.
